“Diving Deep Into CKLA K-2 Skills” will build your Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKLA) knowledge. This course will take you on a deep dive into why an evidence-based approach to teaching foundational skills is essential, why it’s important to provide a Culturally Responsive and Sustaining Education (CRSE) to your students, and how CKLA K-2 skills strand impact how students learn the foundational skills of reading.
Enroll in this course if you’re ready to take the next steps into providing more equitable learning experiences to teach students the skills to read and write.
ACCREDITATION
Participants will receive a Certificate of Participation, which can serve as verification of attendance for state-approved continuing education credits in most states where such programs exist. Please email open-enrollment@teachinglab.org for any questions regarding accreditation.

VIRTUAL DELIVERY
“Diving Deep Into CKLA K-2 Skills” will be delivered through Zoom via our Learning Management System (Canvas), which brings our unique professional learning content and learning environment online while enhancing our ability to build community among educators.
Participants will engage in synchronous (led by a facilitator) and asynchronous (self-directed) learning experiences.
