“Teaching Illustrative Mathematics K-5 with an Equity Lens” will build content knowledge, pedagogic content knowledge, and curricular materials knowledge within NCTM’s Mathematics Teaching Practices. The course also promises to strengthen your drive to be an anti-racist educator by helping you examine your own beliefs and actions.

ACCREDITATION

Participants will receive a Certificate of Participation, which can serve as verification of attendance for state-approved continuing education credits in most states where such programs exist. Please email open-enrollment@teachinglab.org for any questions regarding accreditation.

VIRTUAL DELIVERY

“Teaching Illustrative Mathematics K-5 with an Equity Lens” will be delivered through Zoom via our Learning Management System (Canvas), which brings our unique professional learning content and learning environment online while enhancing our ability to build community among educators.

Participants will engage in synchronous (led by a facilitator) and asynchronous (self-directed) learning experiences.
